Wonko's COVID-19 Contactless FREE Delivery Service
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the City of Austin's "stay at home" order, Wonko's is offering delivery of products while the store is closed for in-store operations. This will both help ensure the store's ongoing success, and give an opportunity for easy delivery of games and other forms of entertainment while everyone is at home.
How to Order
- Send us a message on our Facebook page - Text us at 833-332-7626 - We deliver within 10 miles of the store - Minimum order of $30 - We will deliver more than 10 miles for larger orders - contact us and ask! - In almost all cases we offer same day delivery for orders placed before 6pm. Deliveries will take place in the evening. - Delivery is free!!!!
Our Contactless Delivery Process
It is extremely important to us that we do not contribute to the spread of COVID-19. Our delivery process is designed to eliminate all contact.
Isolation of Employees - Wonko's is owned by a husband and wife. The store is closed to all other employees and customers. The only people in the store during this time will be the two owners. - All orders will be taken remotely - via Facebook, text or telephone - We are observing strict "stay at home" rules at our house (just ask our teenage kids...). Our family is not having any contact with anyone outside our household except for defined essential purposes such as grocery shopping - All orders are dropped on customers' doorsteps. Notification of delivery is given once we are back in our car. Disinfecting of Products - All products are wiped down with disinfectant before being placed in the bag - Gloves are used during all handling of bags, during carry out from the store and during delivery - Our car steering wheel and door handles are disinfected prior to each day's delivery runs - We are diligent about following the CDC recommendations about not touching our faces, frequently washing our hands, etc...
The Process From Start to Finish
- Customer contacts us via Facebook message, text or call and we arrange the order. - Payment is taken via electronic means. We will accept cash in exceptional cases, but ask that the cash be left in an envelope so there is no person-to-person contact - All products are wiped with disinfectant, dried, and handled with gloves when placed into bags for delivery - Car steering wheel, door handle and other parts that come into contact with hands are disinfected prior to each delivery run - Product is carried with gloves to the doorstep, and left there without ringing the doorbell or other contact - Customer is notified via Facebook or text once we are back in the car
